For students returning to school, or going to school for the first time, an online experience can be a daunting task and the ITT Tech Student Portal is there to help There may not be fellow students handy, or a building that people can just walk into and ask questions of a kindly stranger. ITT Tech does not want that experience. Whether ITT Tech students are returning learners, or getting their first degree, ITT Tech students are focused on training for a career and the last thing they need to worry about is a site that takes a long time to learn how to navigate.

ITT Tech serves a variety of students who are pursuing a number of different career fields in both on campus and online programs. This site is specifically designed so that its online students, as well as its on- campus students, regardless of their program, have the same experience. All students have one easily searchable site where they can access their courses and grades. The portal also provides a place where students can access programs and software that they need for their technically-oriented classes.

Going to school, any school, these days is an important investment. In fact, it may be the most important investment that a student makes. The student portal at ITT Tech provides a place where students can keep track of their educational investment, such as keeping track of such important matters as financial aid.

ITT Tech’s Student Portal reflects the fact that its students are different and have different needs.  This site has customizable features, so that each individual student can have the information that is most important to them handy. This is not a one-size fits all portal that asks students to meet the needs of the school. The emphasis with the portal is meeting the needs of all students.

Also, one of the most important features of this site is the access that it provides to the ITT Tech Virtual Library. A student’s most important job while attending school is doing research for assignments and projects.  The portal provides that access to the library so that students do not have to devote all their time to scouring and searching for the research and course materials that they need.  Students can, instead, devote their valuable time to assembling their course assignments, so that they can move ahead with the valuable career training that they came to ITT Tech for.

This portal exists to serve ITT Tech’s students, not the other way around. The whole point is to welcome students to their career-training path at ITT Tech. This is the point of welcome for students, whether they are returning students, people new to the college experience, or busy professionals looking to improve their skills for todays competitive job market. The portal at ITT Tech will be there during a students time at ITT Tech. The ITT Tech Student Portal will be each students personal guide for the duration of their college experience.
